I call this one Desire because it is based on a scene from the movie (and play of course) A Streetcar Named Desire.  It is one of my favourite movie moments of all time.

12 x 14 inches, oil on canvas.

Oil on linen on board, 5 x 7 inches.

Nanjizel is a beach on the Cornish coast.  It is off the beaten track and a bit of a walk to get there, but it is worth it!

Mousehole Harbour

24 x 30 cm.  Oil on linen on board.  We visit Mousehole in Cornwall every year.  Maybe one day when I am rich and famous like the artist Ken Howard I will be able to by a place there.

Clementine 5 x 7 inches, oil on linen on board

Oil on linen on board 7 x 5 inches.  The big debate in our house is whether the jam goes on before the cream or the cream before the jam.  I say jam first and then cream, which is the Cornish way I believe.  Mrs C likes it as it is here, which is how they do it in Devon.  What do you think?

Regret 2

A modern day Sheffield street scene (with social commentary?)  Oil on linen on board 40 x 50 cm.  BIG!

Can't think of a name for this one.  Any ideas?  Oil on linen on board 20 x 30 cm.

5 x 7 oil on linen on board.  this painting is called 'Regret' because this man is sitting in a cafe in St Mark's Square, Venice.  He has just received his bill!
